Our Story

Braddah Timmy from the island of Maui brings his ohana's recipes to the mainland and beyond. He began his food journey by learning to make local island favorites from his mom and dad. In 2004 he opened his first restaurant in Santa Cruz California. In 2010 he opened Pono Hawaiian Grill serving Hawaiian style plate lunch, special creations and bringing Hawaiian musicians from the island to his venue in Santa Cruz. 

 

In 2021 he realized that sourcing products and ingredients became challenging and partnered with an incredible family-owned manufacturer who helped fulfill Timmy's dreams by creating island style flavors that were used in all of his dishes and now making them available for the whole world to enjoy!
